Einstein's Green Team receives recognition from King County Green Schools

Einstein's Green Team had another amazing year!

At the start, we challenged our school to help conserve water and maintaining our previous achievements—and you did it!

We put up signs, made GOOS bins, and worked together to save water. Not only that, in April, we launched a Food Waste Challenge among our three lunch periods and we were able to reduce food waste by 20%!

It wasn’t easy—it took a lot of hard work from our Green Team. But in the end, it paid off.

While most schools earn one or two badges in a year, we didn’t earn two… or four… or even six—we earned all seven Green Schools badges in just one year! That’s an incredible achievement and definitely worth celebrating!

All of this is only possible because we worked together. So thank you, Otters! Let’s keep making a difference next year!
